• Reservation and travel information: passenger types, routes, stops, travel dates, departure times, ticket records, baggage or pet requests, and trip history.
• Accessibility information: wheelchair-accessible vehicle requests, mobility-device details, service-animal information, or another accommodation you choose to provide. We use this information only as reasonably necessary to arrange accessible service, operate safely, and meet legal obligations.
• Payment and transaction information: Our booking platform and its payment providers process online payment-card information. Shuttle Buddy receives reservation, payment-status, refund, and transaction records needed to provide service and keep business records.
• Alert-list information: name, email address, consent record, list selected, and subscription status.
• Communications: emails, calls, form submissions, complaints, feedback, and customer-support records.
• Technical information: IP address, browser, device, referring page, cookies, analytics events, and website interactions.

2. How we use information

• Provide reservations, transportation, accessibility accommodations, customer support, refunds, and operational notices.
• Process and reconcile payments through our booking platform and related providers.
• Maintain manifests, safety records, accounting records, and service history.
• Send app or route-launch emails only when a person joins the corresponding list.
• Improve routes, capacity planning, the website, future app, customer service, and security.
• Prevent fraud, misuse, unsafe behavior, and violations of applicable terms.
• Comply with legal, regulatory, insurance, tax, and recordkeeping obligations.

3. Email and text-message choices

The App Alert List and Route Launch List are separate email subscriptions. Joining one does not automatically join the other. Shuttle Buddy does not send marketing text messages based on these signups. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in a message or by contacting us. Transactional or safety communications about an existing reservation are not marketing and may be sent using the contact information provided for that trip.

4. How information is shared

Shuttle Buddy does not sell personal information. We may disclose information to:

• Booking and payment providers for booking, ticketing, payment, refund, and reservation support.
• WordPress.com, Automattic, and Jetpack for website hosting, forms, subscriptions, security, and related website functions.
• Email, analytics, technology, app, professional, and customer-support providers that perform services under appropriate obligations.
• Drivers, dispatchers, and operating partners to provide the booked trip and requested accommodations.
• Government, regulators, courts, insurers, or law enforcement when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
• A successor organization in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale, subject to applicable law.

5. Cookies and analytics

The website may use essential cookies and similar technology for security, forms, preferences, booking links, performance, and analytics. Browser settings can block or delete cookies, but some functions may not operate correctly. Third-party booking and linked services apply their own cookie and privacy practices.

6. Data retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for transportation, customer support, safety, accounting, tax, insurance, dispute-resolution, contractual, and legal purposes. Retention periods vary by record type. Information may be deleted, anonymized, or retained longer when required by law or needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

7. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect personal information. No website, application, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

8. Children’s privacy

Reservations for children and infants must be completed by a parent, guardian, or other responsible adult. The website and alert lists are not directed to children under 13, and Shuttle Buddy does not knowingly ask a child under 13 to submit personal information directly. Contact us if you believe a child submitted information without appropriate authorization.

9. Your choices and requests

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; request a copy; withdraw marketing consent; or ask a privacy question. Some records must be retained for legal or operational reasons. We may verify identity before completing a request.

11. Third-party services and links

Our booking platform, WordPress.com, analytics services, social-media sites, maps, and other linked providers operate under their own privacy policies. Shuttle Buddy is not responsible for the independent practices of a third-party site or service.

We may update this Policy as services, technology, or legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted with a new effective date.
